Sara Frances Butler, sophomore member of the Women’s Club Tennis Team, shares her experience with us. She’s had a racket in her hand since a young age, and hasn’t been able to put it down. Through her years of competitive play, with private club teams and school teams, she has learned how significant the benefits of tennis are for her personal well being. She explains that the sport allows both her body and mind to be exercised, as it is a great escape from the stresses in academic, social, and work life. Whether it be competing in tournaments versus Duke, or meeting for daily practices, she is able to level up her skills while also spending time with a community of people who better their community!
