Hi! My name is Louise Sprunt. I am currently a sophomore at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I was born and raised in Wilmington, North Carolina and I attended high school at Virginia Episcopal School in Lynchburg, Virginia. I am the middle child between my two sisters, Margaret and Virginia, and my parents names are David and Wesie. Our two English Setters live at home with my parents. Growing up by the beach, I learned how to water ski, wakeboard, sail, and spent lots of time tubing behind the boat with friends and family.
At college, I enjoy doing anything with my friends, running, shopping, watching college basketball, and cooking. My major is Sports Administration and my minor is Media and Journalism with a focus in Advertising and Personal Relations. As a former high school athlete who misses organized sports, I enjoy anything sport related. I also enjoy being creative in my work, which is why I think my major and minor mesh well together. Since being in college with new and old friends, I have travelled to places like Steamboat Springs, London, and Glade Valley. Last year I even ran my first half marathon!
My mom went to NC State University and my dad went to UNC, but I grew up as a Carolina fan. Growing up, my family would come to Chapel Hill to watch most of the basketball games, and my favorite player was Kennedy Meeks. My older sister also attended boarding school with me, and my younger sister currently attends St. Mary’s School in Raleigh, North Carolina. The majority of my family lives in Wilmington and Raleigh, but I do have relative that live in other states like New Mexico and Mississippi. I love all animals, specifically dogs, and I think animals make any home a lot more welcoming. And my favorite color is blue!
